Service Description
In this series of courses, children will explore various scientific fields such as optics, mechanics, biology, and mathematics through the five key areas of STEAM. These concepts will be integrated into fun and creative arts and crafts activities designed to stimulate curiosity and encourage children to use a variety of materials to unleash their imagination and create unique projects. 在這一系列的課程中，孩子們將透過STEAM五大領域探索光學、力學、生物和數學等不同科學領域。 這些知識將融入有趣的創意美勞活動中。課堂上將設計互動遊戲，激發孩子們的好奇心，並鼓勵伳們使用各種材料，發揮想像力，創作出獨特的作品。 About our teachers: Ms. Ariel holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and a Master's in Art. She has worked as a museum exhibition planner and children's art teacher and currently teaches at an immersion bilingual IB school, fostering inquiry and encouraging creative, hands-on learning. Ms. Tzuling holds a B.F.A. in Computer Arts: New Media from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and an M.A. in English from San Francisco State University. She currently works as a graphic designer for TJCF and teaches art and craft at our library. Ava Chen has nearly a decade of experience in pediatric care and early childhood intervention. Her passion for arts and crafts inspired her to join TJCF, where she has played a key role in designing displays for various themes, events, and workshops. Ava also loves guiding children through stories and hands-on activities. *13 sessions total: 2/8, 2/15, 3/1, 3 /8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/ 5, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24. *Walk-in: $33

Cancellation Policy
• Programs may be canceled when the minimum enrollment is not met. Please register early. • If a camp/class program is canceled, participants are notified by email to receive a full refund. Please note refunds, paid by credit card may take one to two weeks to process. • Any one- and two-time classes, special events or trial classes: Refunds are not available. • A 15% or $15 processing fee per transaction applies for all refunds, whichever is lower. • Classes: Full refunds will be issued for cancellations greater than 5 business days from the start of the course and are subject to a 15% or $15 processing charge, whichever is lower. For cancellations 5 days or less from the start of the course, no refunds will be issued.
